Shoalhaven River

The mighty Shoalhaven River meets the sea right at Shoalhaven Heads, so you have the river on one side and the ocean on the other. It is a favourite for fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and lazy afternoons on the bank.

Drop a line for bream and flathead, launch the boat, or just watch the pelicans. The calm water near the mouth is ideal for younger kids and first-time paddlers.
